A €100 grant? Many self-employed people aren’t even aware of this scheme yet..

Anyone who invests in personal protective equipment can claim up to €100 back from the SVS. Ask about the SVS Safety Hundred!

Since July 2025, the SVS Safety Hundred has also been available for selected personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment. The Social Insurance for the Self-Employed (SVS) thus supports investment in occupational safety and prevention with up to €100 per calendar year.

What is eligible for funding?

Depending on the area of application, products from the following categories, for example, may be suitable:

  • High-visibility clothing

  • Welding protection

  • Cut protection

  • UV protection

  • Heat protection

  • Cold protection

  • Chemical protection

  • Hand protection

  • Foot protection

  • Head, respiratory and hearing protection

  • Fall protection

Good to know: The SVS provides examples of eligible products on its website. However, the requirements of the PPE Regulation (Sections 8–16 of the PSA-V) take precedence. The list is therefore not exhaustive – depending on the area of application, other personal protective equipment products may also be eligible.

Did you know?

✔ Up to €100 in funding per calendar year

✔ Multiple applications are possible until the funding allocation has been exhausted

✔ Apply online with an invoice and proof of payment

Whether a product is actually eligible for funding is decided solely by the SVS. If in doubt, please therefore check eligibility directly with the SVS before making a purchase.
