Summer temperatures above 30°C are no longer an exception – they have become part of everyday working life. The first heat wave of this year already resulted in heat-related deaths in several European countries. What once primarily affected Southern Europe is now increasingly affecting Central Europe as well.

For companies, this means that increasing heat stress in the workplace is a real health risk with increasing relevance – especially in construction, industry, railway companies, logistics, care and other sectors with physical strain or non-air-conditioned work areas.

Heat stress is more than just discomfort

Overheating can place a significant strain on the cardiovascular system, impair concentration, and increase the risk of accidents. The kidneys and mental health are also sensitive to high temperatures – with consequences for health, productivity, and the working environment.

The solution: Smart cooling clothing

Modern cooling textiles noticeably reduce skin temperature through physical cooling. Different technologies are used depending on the application:

💧Evaporative cooling (H2O)

Activated with water, the textile cools through evaporation. It's particularly effective when air circulation is present—ideal for outdoor use.

🌬️ Dry evaporation (Dry)

Works similarly to H2O, but stays dry on the outside. Suitable for indoor or hygiene-sensitive areas.

Lightweight solution for short-term use – with rapid but shorter cooling effect (1-2 hours).

Cooling pads with a defined temperature (e.g. 15 °C, 21 °C, 24 °C) that work independently of the environment and air movement.

✔ Constant cooling for 1.5–3 hours
