Ötscher products undergo regular validation processes
Ötscher also delivers its products including the following certificates to its customers – certificates which are based upon comprehensive analyses carried out by various control bodies. Thus, the buyers of our certified products are guaranteed products in top quality which stand every test.
EC Type Examination Certificate
A certified body checks and confirms that a sample which is representative of the respective production meets the respective provisions of this regulation. The application for an EC Type Examination must be submitted to a certified body of choice by the manufacturer or an agent. The EC Type Examination can only be applied for with one body. If all the provisions of the regulation are met, the respective body issues the EC Type Examination Certificate to the applicant. The certificate contains the name and address of the manufacturer, the results of the examination, any conditions on the validity of the Certificate and the information required for the identification of the certified sample. In our case, certified articles are e.g. protective wear for welders and cut protection pants which also meet the FPA examination criteria.
Oeko-Tex Certificate
In order for textiles to be allowed to carry the Oeko-Tex label it is necessary to submit an application with an authorized certification body. After consultation with the applicant the respective examination board defines the necessary sample which the applicant will then send directly to this body. If the results of the examination are positive and the textiles thus meet the Oeko-Tex criteria, the applicant will receive an examination report indicating the results. At the same time the certifying body receives the examination report for processing in order to avoid delays. The certifying body then issues the certificate for the requested article with an examination number. The applicant is then allowed to label the examined articles with the Oeko-Tex mark and the examination number.
